Living Lab 1 – Ljubljana
LL1 Ljubljana deployed and tested the PRECINCT approach in an existing LL in Ljubljana establishing a collaboration between four interconnected critical infrastructures (national rail and city bus transport, Electricity Distribution System Operator (DSO) and telecommunication infrastructure) and the Municipality Police with connection to neighboring city first responder services he four CIs are in the process of establishing a closer connection via the development of a new modern passenger and transport mobility hub.
A Coordination Centre was set up to investigate the broader benefits resulting from a DT. In LL1 the 3C was designed as part of the new Transport Hub, and its specification and governance will leverage the outputs of the DEFENDER security governance model, which leverages lifecycle assessment for cost-effective security management over the time.
Initial threat scenarios
The scenarios focused on a physical threat (bomb) and a cyber-attack with simultaneous DDoS attacks to critical parts of the critical Industrial Control Systems (ICS) of the electricity and communication operators, which provide important services for business continuity of the transport mobility hub.
